That's the name of this color to be exact. And what a lovely color it is, looks both green and blue and shines beautifully. When I received the yarn, I did some swatching and decided to follow the KISS-principle (keep it simple, stupid) and just play with stockinette and reverse stockinette. I love how light reflects differently from smooth stockinette and from more textured reverse stockinette. Oh, and the yarn, it's Tosh DK.
I worked this hoodie in one piece (except the elbow patches of course, they're sewn on later) from top down, beginning with the hood. I was a bit afraid of running out of yarn so after I finished the yoke, I made the sleeves and then continued with the body. At the end I even had some yarn left.

I love oversized sweaters, especially the ones that are made in very thin yarn. They're so lightweight and have such a nice drape. So I made me one.
We have very little daylight at the moment so taking photos was a bit of a struggle. On a sidenote, it's also the time of the year when I take more photos of water splashes and do some light painting. They're fun, too.

You know how hard it is to work when your workflow can't actually be called a "flow" but more like "stuck all the time". Well, that's what my photo editing was like. Since yesterday, when I finally decided to do something about it and bought Lightroom 5. All happy now.
This weekend seemed to be the last one to really enjoy all the autumnal colors out there. The wind is getting stronger and some trees look like the leafs are not going to stay there for long.
